Abstract

This study aimed to develop a Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy (REBT)-Based Stress Management Module (TEKAD Module) to reduce occupational stress and enhance teachers' coping strategies and psychological resilience. In addition, the study sought to evaluate the module's content validity and reliability prior to its implementation as an intervention. The module was developed based on the Sidek Module Development Model (SMDM) and the principles of Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy (REBT). Five professional experts were appointed to evaluate the module's content validity. The TEKAD Module comprises five core components: (1) Self-Introduction, (2) Understanding Stress, (3) Understanding REBT, (4) Coping Strategies, and (5) Psychological Resilience. The findings indicated that the module achieved a content validity index of 0.81, demonstrating satisfactory content validity. Furthermore, the module's overall reliability, assessed using Cronbach's alpha, was 0.756, indicating acceptable internal consistency. These findings suggest that the TEKAD Module is a valid and reliable intervention that can be implemented within counseling services to help teachers manage occupational stress and enhance adaptive coping strategies and psychological resilience.
