Aim and Scope
CuraNext is a peer-reviewed, quarterly, open-access medical journal dedicated to publishing high-quality research that advances clinical practice, translational medicine, and healthcare outcomes. The journal welcomes original research articles, review articles, clinical investigations, systematic reviews, meta-analyses, short communications, evidence-based studies, and other scholarly contributions across the medical and healthcare sciences. The journal’s scope encompasses a broad range of disciplines including general and internal medicine, cardiology, neurology, oncology, endocrinology, infectious diseases, pediatrics, geriatrics, women’s health, surgery, psychiatry and mental health, rehabilitation medicine, clinical pharmacology, laboratory medicine, public health, and health systems research.
CuraNext also considers biomedical, digital, computational, and other emerging areas under the broader medical umbrella, including artificial intelligence in medicine, precision medicine, medical imaging, bioinformatics, telemedicine, wearable and remote patient monitoring, regenerative medicine, and data-driven clinical decision support, provided that such studies demonstrate clear medical relevance and direct value to diagnosis, treatment, patient care, rehabilitation, public health, or healthcare delivery. Manuscripts that are primarily engineering-based will be consider only when the primary contribution is clearly directed toward medicine, patient care, or healthcare outcomes.
In addition to regular article types, CuraNext welcomes video articles submitted by authors to complement and strengthen the communication of medical research. Video articles may be used to demonstrate clinical procedures, diagnostic methods, therapeutic techniques, experimental workflows, or other medically relevant practices that enhance the clarity, educational value, and translational impact of the published work.
