Abstract

Nature has always been a source of inspiration for literature and adds to its glory. All living things are a re-form of nature. In Tamil, the oldest language that emerged before the formation of stone and soil, there are many poets who have not sung about nature, to the extent that they have been involved in nature, experienced it, and sung poetry. This article seeks to highlight the poet's love for nature, environmental commitment, and the teachings to protect natural resources and save humanity from extinction in the poems of the poet-sculptor in the line of Bharathidasan's poetic lineage.
